It is finally the new year and winter is in full swing! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year. I have been hibernating for the past few weeks just trying to hide from the cold! During that time I thought it would be fun to share with you how to best stay warm on those crazy below zero days where the wind practically feels like it is biting your nose off. The biggest advice I can give anyone is be sure to wear layers layers layers! The best part about layers is you can have so much fun with creating variety of textures and colors into your outfits. Don’t be afraid to wear that long sleeve, then a sweater, then a light jacket all underneath your big heavy winter coat! Bundle up because it will be worth it. Another great feature of layers is you can always remove one if you get warm, better to have too many than not enough. Second biggest tip is always have a few favorite go-to beanies! They add a fun accessory to your outfit as well as keeping your head and ears extra warm. Another perk to fashionable beanies is usually in the winter time I am a little slower at getting out of bed leaving me less time to do all that much with my hair, a beanie is always the perfect solution for a bad hair day. Tip number three is choosing warm footwear to trudge through the snow with as well as keeping your feet warm. I have collected many boots over the years for this very reason. Who knew boots could keep your toes warm and also be fashionable?! It is all possible! I put together three outfits displaying how you can have some fun with these tips. Below each outfit idea I will have links to all the places you can find the warm cozy pieces. Enjoy the looks and stay warm out there!
